Every bottle of Uji Tepelene carries a story, from the untouched mountains of southern Albania to tables around the world. Its journey is shaped by nature, protected by technology, and guided by sustainability.
Naturally Sourced
Uji Tepelene originates from natural springs near the town of Tepelenë. As it travels through layers of rock, the water is naturally filtered, gaining its unique mineral composition. This process creates water that’s clean, balanced, and doesn’t require chemical treatment.
Bottled with Care
Since 1996, Uji Tepelene’s bottling facility—covering over 30,000 square meters—has been equipped with advanced technology to maintain the water’s natural qualities. More than 800 quality tests are performed each week, including physical, chemical, and bacteriological checks, ensuring consistency and safety in every bottle.
Sustainable by Design
Respecting nature is a core part of Uji Tepelene’s philosophy. The company has adopted electric vehicles to reduce emissions and is moving toward solar-powered operations. Plans to use 100% recyclable rPET bottles further show a commitment to minimizing environmental impact.
Expanding Globally
Though deeply tied to its Albanian roots, Uji Tepelene has expanded internationally since 2003. Its refreshing purity is now available in countries including Greece, Italy, Kosovo, the UK, and the United States—sharing Albania’s clean water with a global audience.
From the spring to the bottle, every step is taken with care. Uji Tepelene isn’t just water—it’s a reflection of natural purity, responsible production, and a proud Albanian heritage.
